Futurists and Severini in particular
When I was exploring painting movements I became fascinated by the Futurist artwork.
It wasn’t their manifesto or what else they were trying to say. It was the paintings themselves many of which, I thought, only had a vague link to their story. I was missing something but enjoyed the paintings.
Here are a couple of paintings I produced during my “Futurists Period”. I don’t know how they are linked but they definitely happened at the same time
